Mother, Melanie Hesketh, left a McDonalds cheeseburger on her kitchen table for a whole year to demonstrate its natural decay…except there was none.  (She actually did it to ward her kids away from McDonalds, but she knew this would happen.)

These photos show the year-old cheeseburger—pretty much the same, except for the shrunken patty and the stale bun.  Oh, not to mention, there are no living organisms breaking it down either.  Not even mold!

I’m pretty sure McDonalds uses preservatives, which—okay, we can expect.  But I’m pretty sure that if nature and time forgets it, we’re just as good eating the toys in the Happy Meals.
